Tournament at Avalon transports players to the realm where Excalibur was created, expanding upon the inventive features of the original game by introducing fresh characters, cards, and mechanics. This offers players the opportunity to emphasize casual diplomacy or alliances in addition to the standard combat seen in the original Tournament at Camelot.
THE GAMEPLAY
In this game, you assume the role of a renowned character who engages in battles using an array of weapon cards, including arrows, swords, deception, sorcery, and even alchemy. Your success in the tournament is directly linked to the extent to which you harm your adversaries. Remarkably, characters who have suffered significant injuries can stage a remarkable recovery by leveraging the divine assistance of Godsend cards and the support of their unique companions. The game culminates when a single opponent is brought to the brink of death through injuries. The victor of the tournament is determined by the player with the highest remaining health!
